are they your pet?or you just found them?
:iconmeeliah:
I breed them. They'll be raised as spoiled rotten as little ratlets can be!

Yes, unfortunately the rats don't live much beyond 2 years, but they're so worth it!

tell me why you choose to take care of them?is it because they are cute and they also need to be cared like cats and dogs?
:iconmeeliah:
I love rats because they are very personal. They actually develop a bond with humans in a way that most other animals cannot. They seem to really look forward to their time with their people.
Once you go rat, you never go back!

This is just beautiful. But seeing this makes me a little bit sad, too. I had some rat-babies too. I bought a rat and she was already pregnant but much too young. She began to eat them up. I tried my luck with the rest of them, tried too feed and raise them. Sadly only one of them survived.... But this one is healthy. :)

Thank you for uploading this photo. It reminds me that not every rat-birth ends in a tragedy.. They're so cute..
